With effect from 01.01.2026, following Mechanism will be implemented for the exportation of metals and scraps.

Export Process

• The Export Control License for metals & scraps will be issued for the total recommended quantity instead of Proforma Invoice base.

• The License validity period will be either recommended time period by the relevant authorities, or six (06) months.

• Exporter needs to debit the license of every instance of exports.

• Exporter shall mention the correct end use purpose in application.

E.g :        “Export value added Aluminium Products”,
               “Export Aluminium which generated through production process”
