To All Applicants Applying for Debit Approvals through Unit 01

Please be informed that applicants may request a sample allowance of up to 10% of the approved license value at the time of submitting debit applications under both Bulk Licenses and Item Licenses, subject to approval by the Department.

It has been observed that approved sample values are not declared as separate items in debit applications. As a result, such applications require manual intervention to send approval of this department to the Asycuda system.

The Department is currently enhancing the electronic debiting process to facilitate the automated processing of approved sample items through the ASYCUDA System. Under this enhancement, approved sample items declared separately in debit applications will be automatically processed together with the corresponding commercial items.

Accordingly, with immediate effect, all applicants requesting sample allowances are required to declare the approved sample value as a separate item in their debit applications submitted for debiting.

Please note that this is a pilot project aimed solely at enabling automatic greening. Further, system development in this area is currently underway.
